Submitted by BradleyRobertson on Mon, 12/15/2008 - 14:00.I'm not really sure what happened, but we were not given the judging results last night. As many of you probably saw, the Overland Park Fire Department did come down our street around 8:30 PM last night. In the past, they have given me the judging sheets so I could make the announcement of the winner. I'm not sure if there was a communication break-down, if they got a call and had to leave before they were finished, if the street conditions were too bad, or a combination of the above. I am trying to get in touch with my contact at the OPFD and I will post an update as soon as I have any info.
In the meantime, take at look at the Gallery to see how everyone decorated this year.
Judging for 3rd Annual contest to be held 12/14
Submitted by BradleyRobertson on Tue, 11/25/2008 - 16:26.We received confirmation that the Overland Park Fire Department will be doing the judging again this year. Judging will take place some time between 6:30 and 9:30 on Sunday, December 14th 2008. Make sure your display is turned on and ready to go for that night.
We are still working on getting prizes for this year. We will be sending out flyers to residents with the details soon.
3rd Annual Contest

Soon you should be receiving a postcard in the mail to remind everyone about the contest. Right now the judging will tentatively take place December 13th. We are also in the process of contacting sponsors for this years prizes. Check back soon for more details.
